Train HQ2 leaves Hue Station at 7:15 and arrives at Tho Loc Station at 11:55. Train HQ1 leaves Tho Loc Station at 13:15 and returns to Hue Station at 17:25. Trains HQ1 and HQ2 stop at Hue, Dong Ha, My Trach, Dong Hoi and Tho Loc. Tho Loc is the closest station on the route to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
The HQ1 and HQ2 train has 8 carriages and carries more than 300 passengers. The train includes 5 swivel seat carriages, 1 VIP carriage with 24 seats, an entertainment carriage and a community carriage. On board, passengers can enjoy folk music performances, stalls selling Hue specialties such as banh loc, banh nam and banh beo, and ao dai rental for photos.

The Hue Da Nang heritage train, named “Central Heritage Connection”, has run between Hue and Da Nang since March 26, 2024, following the coastal railway over the Hai Van Pass.
